Just thought I'd pass along a good reference for overclocking the i5 750.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cor ... 500-3.html

I followed the BIOS setting for the 4 GHz overclock, and got a very stable system. I'm using an i5 750, a Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 motherboard, 4 GB of Crucial 1600 MHz memory, and an 8400 GS video card. It was surprisingly easy.

Tom's web site also has other articles on i5 overclocking - they're worth a read.

Be very careful with that motherboard when over clocking as couple of people have had them die.

Understood. My guess is that at least one problem is the heat sink on the power FETs. I put a small fan on the MB to cool it, but I plan to upgrade to a more robust card in the future.
