I'm with you on that one, but from my understanding part of the reason for the spec being what they are is that Gigabyte had some customers demanding what you're looking at. I guess their customers weren't aware of the limitations. :

I bought this Borad on Friday with Core i5-3225 16GB RAM Crosair XMS. Hibernate works but no sleep. The fans turn on. Nice board ....Digital Sound works after the NEW Multibeast
