Gigabyte Z77-DS3H V1.0 Freezes under heavy network load

Any time that I try to use the network port heavily the system will totally freeze. This includes backups or copying of large files. I used Multibeast with the ALXEthernet.kext for network. Does anyone have any ideas?

I used to get that under mavericks, try switching to the E2200 kext from multibeast, see if that is any better for you, worked for me

I already tried that driver, but the card wouldn't even load.

I had this with my GA-H61M-USB3-B3 in Mavericks, fixed it with the AtherosL1C kext for network. It's now included in multibeast, and it's been working for me in yosemite with heavy network traffic.

I was having this problem on my build. Unfortunately I could not find a solution so I ended up buying a Mac compatible network card. I felt a bit defeated by doing this, but it does work great now.
