Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

Simply follow the build guide in Post 1 or use Hackintool App (posts 1 and 2 in that thread) to replace your EFI with the 0.7.0 version available through the app.

Another option is to create a USB port map from scratch by following this guide:
Thanks I wasn't sure what I was doing wrong I've set XCHI port limit to true, used the USB Inject All Kext and inserted all the relevant files into the ACPI and Kexts folders and used proper tree to do a OC snapshot after. Not sure if in missing files or steps? I tried updating to open core 0.70 before I reached this step but messed us my efi folder so just left it on 0.69? Would this update help the port situation. Both Thunderbolt ports and on board usb that goes to my front panel but none of the rear usb ports are working.

I do not recommend ProperTree, especially its Snapshot feature. That is a disaster waiting to happen! :)

It would be best to follow the instructions in the link I provided in previous reply to the HackinDROM App. It will download, configure, and install a working OpenCore 0.7.0 EFI for you.

Then you can download and use “OpenCore Configurator” to make any subsequent changes to the config.plist (if needed).

No problem thanks very much for your help, this thread simplified a lot of the process for me as a first time hackintosher:thumbup:.

I just tested the i225-V 2.5GbE port, and it wakes up normally from sleep and continues to work.
  • Are you sure yours does not wake from sleep?
  • Which version of BIOS is installed in your motherboard?
1, is unable to wake up, manual IP address, not using DHCP

2. Using BIOS is F20

After update from 069 to 070, sound output devices changed like from ss1 to ss2. What should i do to re-enable them?

OK, I'll have a try
Bios F20 is bugged out. My usb devices kept ejecting during resume from sleep if xmp was on. On bios f5, all is well.

F20 has been rock solid for me for the past month now.

I wanted f20 to work but the ejection of USB devices during sleep in all operating systems as well as some random crashes steered me back to f5.
