Why was this moved to post-install? Shouldn’t a build issue be in the build forums?

A build issue should be in post install - you are fixing install issues. Build forums are for compatibility, completed build description (guides) and Golden Builds (excellent guides with ongoing updates).

Been trying for a week to get a new hackintosh build together, and I’m at my wits end.....

I have the same MoBo and similar problems. I thought it makes a difference by power unplugging but after reboot it randomly does things and now it hangs forever without success (after about 10 reboots which were ok). Not sure if it has its core with the internal intel graphics or just a faulty MoBo?
