Hi,
I have 10.8 running perfectly on my system. At one time there were some issues with nVidia but overall sleep works (sleep app fix) and sound crackles 1st time use (but not a big deal). All USB3 works.

Now I am trying to upgrade to 10.9 Maverick and can't boot from the unibeast USB. I tested the USB on my mac and it works.
I installed the system by removing my nVidia 550ti video card (and used internal intel graphics) - and then same issue that it goes all the way upto like its going to load GUI and blank screen. Nothing shows up on screen and monitor just blinks that there is no signal.

Only way it worked:
- Install Maverick without nVidia video card.
- Make internal Intel primary display in bios
- Plug one DVI into Intel and second on nVidia (to get twin screen)
- Used npci=0x3000 IGPEnabler=no GrpahicsEnabler=Yes

I have internal graphics disabled. I need only nVidia work.

What I tried:
- Deleting all intelHD* kext (reboot automatically before loading gui)
- Disable / Enable Internal graphics (with and without wires connected)
- All sort of switches on/off Darwait / npci / IGEnabler / GraphicsEnabler
- One time I was able to boot into -x mode but couldn't duplicate
- vt-d and other options didn't help
- Newest / 2.0.1 chameleon didn't help

What I need:
- Disable intel graphics card
- What do I need to do to make it install with 550ti?

Only thing I can think of at this stage is that to copy all intel + nvidia + geForce kext from existing 10.8 to 10.9 (when I re-install it).

PS: I need dirty install, clean install not an option ATM

System:
3700 (non K)
Gigagbyte UD5H
nVidia 550ti video card
16gb ram
2 hard drives

so I was able to fix my problem.

Just in case someone is interested -

- Take power off video card (550Ti)
- Plug DVI only on Internal Intel GFX
- I reinstalled 10.9 (dirty install with USB stick)
- Boot once - finish install
- Multibeast (easybeast settings) - This, I think broke my Intel graphics?
- Plug my 550ti back in.
- Disabled intel graphics
- Tried bunch of switches, the one that was critical was "-f"
- I have npci=0x2000 , GraphicsEnabler=Yes, and -f set permanently (I had to do that in SL as well)
- CUDA drivers update was available. Updated and all good.
- People at insanely mac chat helped a lot in diagnosing.

I just need to figure out what kext is bad, that I have to use -f all the time. Let me know if you can help.
