Gigabyte HD 5770 10.6.8 no hdmi?

Specs:
i7 2600k
GA H67A UD3H B3
Gigabyte HD 5770 "Batmobile"

Problem:
Hdmi was working in 10.6.7. Decided to do a fresh install of 10.6.8 because I didn't have much on the machine. Now I can only get the hdmi to clone the output of another monitor, it won't be the primary monitor. Thoughts?

I am having this exact same problem on my Diamond HD 5770. HDMI and Display Port only mirror what I have set on my DVI. I have not figured out what I can do to make it work correctly.

I have tried quite a bit and read til my eyes feel like they are bleeding.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
