Hey Guys,

i am trying to upgrade my Geforce GTX770 4GB to a GTX 1080 8GB

but i'am having issues... i installed the web driver successfully but CUDA says in startup "No GPU"
and system info says Graphics: 5MB

So i found out already:
-Make sure you have Inject/NVidia/False
-add nvda_drv=1
->>>Try setting your SMBIOS to MacPro3,1 -> which will cause a kernel panic when booting ( only imac 14,2 works)
- Add EmuVariableUefi-64

My System:
Gigabyte Z87X UD7 TH
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1080
Intel i7 3,49

thanks for input!

Attach your config.plist

mhhh at the moment i crushed it all,
now i can only boot in safe mode:

but in safemode, i have a geforce gtx 1080 with all my 8191MB! and cuda & gpu

i dont't have a config.plist because i am using multibeast

See this post.

*Please Note:
The FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext in FakeSMC Plugins v6.25-333-g05e0f4be.1759 is NOT compatible with NVIDIA Pascal graphics cards. If you do not delete it from /Library/Extensions your system will kernel panic on boot.

you are right, the last time i missed the GPUSensors and deleted something else instead ...

now i have a system booting most of the times,
with working grafic for some reason (i think it was about the NVRAM in bootloaders)
with non working audio, but this is meantioned in your post allready, trying to fix this now

thank you
