GIGABYTE GA-X58-UD3R With Mountain Lion post installation problems

I have just installed Mountain Lion on my 2nd Hackintosh. I have a GIGABYTE GA-X58-UD3R 1.6, I7-920, 6GB of RAM. My main issue is that I can not get Audio working. I have tried every kext and read every post, but had no luck. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the response and sorry for the PM! I will go through the ML: MultiBeast - No Audio/Solutions and Problem Reporting and let you know how I go.

I followed the guide, but am still having no luck. I will include a copy of my IOreg file and a bunch of screenshots. I have the Apple HDA and HDA enabler Kext. I am not seeing anything under sound, input or output controls. Would appreciate some assistance. I will add the IV. Problem Reporting (Post reply to this thread with:) information soon.

You should be using ALC889 codec with that board.

Is your DSDT from the forum DSDT database? Or did you edit it on your own?

For my Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-X58-UD3R my Audio codec is Realtek ALC888. The GA-X58A which many people have has the ALC889. I used the DSDT from the Tonymacx86.com. Thanks for any help you can give me.

OK, so that is a GA-EX58-UD3R. Bios version FI or FK?

Try this dsdt.aml - I downloaded it fresh from the forum database and corrected the HDEF section to use layout 1.
Assuming you installed ALC888 with DSDT from MultiBeast selection, just drop it in /Extra and rename dsdt.aml. Reboot with -f -v and check for HDA errors during the last screen of the boot post.
