Hi All,

I going to use the Gigabyte GA-H77N Wifi for my first Hackintosh and have a few questions:

1.) I am not going to use Ethernet and will disable both ports in the bios.

Any problems to expect? What do I need to do in MultiBeast?

2.) I will use an SSD.

I assume, I need to activate "Trim" in MultiBeast, right?

3.) RAM size for Intel HD4000

What size should I select in the bios?

Thanks
Mike

What do you plan to use for networking.? The built in WIFI will not work with OSX. Check out this link. http://www.tonymacx86.com/159-exclusive-hands-gigabyte-s-upcoming-mini-itx-motherboards.html.

I currently have the same mother board running ML with out any issues using the on board ethernet. Just follow the instructions in http://www.tonymacx86.com/99-quick-guide-configuring-uefi-gigabyte-s-7-series-lga-1155-boards.html for bios setup and it will be fine. It is a seamless install. Yes you can install TRIM after the initial setup. I am using it for a media center using digital audio out on the motherboard (not using HDMI audio). Multibeast selection should be this. http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...-customac-mini-2012-guide-notes-progress.html

good luck

I am using the same motherboard, i can get osx installed but i cannot boot without -x. Did you have any issues with this?

I know this is an old thread but I had a boot problem after installing ML and setting VT-d to disabled allowed my system to boot properly. Hope this is helpful.
