Hello,
I want to make a last buying confirmation about what motherboard to my new build.
I didn't see to much success rigs using this motherboards here,
but some recommendations from @Jamesbond007 , and some EFI files also on GitHub...

My first choice would go for the:
Gigabyte B460M DS3H V2

I don't know if the Asus Prime B460M-A is the 1.0 or 2.0., or if it's better/easy.
I don't know if the i3 from the seller it's i3-10105 maybe.
i3-10105 is not listed on the buyers guide, that's the doubt vs i3-10100

- Extra thoughts:
I have maybe a GTX470 from a friend that would be native supported to power a bit the iGPU if required.
I have recycled 2x8Gb HyperX DDR4 2400Mhz, maybe slow.
I don't have an M2 yet so I'll use a 2x128Gb Sata SSD.
I doubt about jumping a bit to an i5 bc performance and iGPU, but wanna keep it cheap...

Kind regards!

The Core i3 10105 is just a slightly faster version of the i3-10100, and as such should work the same. You can use this CPU with a 400 series motherboard if you want to use CPU integrated graphics to run Big Sur or Monterey.

The GTX 470 is a very old graphics card and lacks support for Metal, Apple's graphics framework. It won't work with MacOS Mojave and later.

RAM and the SATA SSDs should be fine.

You can use a 10th generation i5 CPU like the i5-10400 or i5-10600K if you want (but not the i5-10400F, since F versions lack CPU integrated graphics). But it seems to me you won't need that and it is certainly cheaper to use an i3 CPU of the same generation.

Ok. Thanks!

My mistake, it's a gtx760 not a gtx470, you replied on the other thread that gtx760 should work fine until big sur.

I am happy then that i3-10100 should work good enough, cool observation by your side to avoid expend more money.
