Getting Hdmi audio to work on hd3000 I'm so confused!!

I have a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 MOBO with an i5 2500k which works perfectly with the ALC889 codec on line out, but I can't seem to get HDMI audio to work? I tried the patch in multibeast but that doesn't seem to work! I've been looking at this guide https://github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_hd3000/tree/master/ssdt_hdmi-hd3000

I tried using the command but it tells me that there is no integrated gpu so doesn't even ask me to install hdmi audio, but I have graphics acceleration working. Could anyone please help? Thanks!

the patch in multibeast but that doesn't seem to work

Configures AppleHDA.kext for HDMI audio, does not enable HDMI audio. MultiBeast does not install HDMI audio.
