Getting DiskWarrior and Hackintosh to work

Hi,

I'm a fairly newbie to hackintosh and I read that a viable way to use DiskWarrior with a hackintosh is:

"if you suspect the boot disk need repair - first "disk image" clone it with Carbon Copy Cloner (which
may report issues with it). Then run diskwarrior on the
disk image. Once the image is fixed, you can restore the
disk with the fixed image. I tried it and it worked."

Can anybody confirm that this will work? I'm running on OS 10.8.2.

It works, but you need to reinstall Chimera/Chameleon after using DiskWarrior/CCC/SuperDuper.

Is there any workaround where you don't need to reinstall Chimera/Chameleon?
