Hi!
I usually use the VoodooHDA kext which works but on this laptop, it emits a humming noise through the headphones which is really annoying and it also doesn't auto change when plugging in headphones so I decided to try getting AppleHDA to work with my realtek ALC668.
I tried this kext: https://github.com/insanelydeepak/Patched_AppleHDA_Yosemite-10.10/blob/master/Laptop's/Realtek ALC/Realtek ALC668.zip and used the HDAEnabler3.kext as I was told to do in the readme.
After restarting, OS X now detects the audio devices but no sound is coming through, I can change the volume but no sound. When I plug in headphones, all I can hear is static. When unplugging the headphones it stops working altogether (little stop sign when changing volume)
Is there a way to get this audio device to work without using the VoodooHDA kext?
Thanks
