General Upkeep, what do you do?

Hey guys, always been curious to what everyone does to upkeep their hacks? General upkeep rather, and what do you do to avoid potential problems?

For me, i use:

Kext Utility...atleast once a week to repair permissions

CleanMyMac...to clean up any extra junk laying around

DaisyDisk...to scan to see, if there is any random large unwanted files, but more so to just monitor.

Carbon Copy...To back up my system drive, itunes, and iphoto, to a 2TB USB 3.0 External.


What do you guys do?

SuperDuper... set options to Repair Permissions first before start of SmartUpdate copy.

When i do i clean install for the first time i put all my files, applications, music etc. onto my installation then i make a backup and reinstall that backup every so often.

Real easy and quick, just have to update a couple of folders and apps and that is pretty much it.

Typically just use disk manager as super duper always causes a kernel panic on my system for some reason.
