Any tips on general permission / cache maintenance - or anything else i should do after 3 months of using my sandy bridge hack?

Normall i'd run onyx /drive genius and repair permissions with disk util.

But i'm pretty sure i bricked my hack early on by repairing permissions with disk util.

Should i just run system util tasks with multibeast, or is that not even needed?

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure the only maintenance that you have to do on a Mac is repair disk permissions in Disk Utility. I do that every few weeks. No bricking yet.

I don't think there's any point in running System Utilities unless you do anything kext-related.

You could make a clone of your hard drive with Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper. It's not "technically" necessary, and it probably isn't something you have to do frequently, but having a clone is super useful for troubleshooting a Hackintosh (you know, in case you brick it).
