Geforce 9600 on 2nd PCI-E bus?

Hello!
My build :
GA-H55M-UD2H rev 1.3 F11
XFX Geforce 9600 GT 512 MB

The fan is very loud and I would like to replace it. But this doesn't fit between the graphic card and my PCI soundcard. So I'd like to put my graphic card in the second PCI-E slot. Does it work? Even in OS X? What about lanes?

I'm using NVEnabler kext for 64-bit mode, FYI.

I've just tested it. It works, but just with 4x lanes. Damn!
