I'm in need of Thunderbolt compatibility for some audio production. Has anyone had any luck getting thunderbolt working with the GC-ALPINE RIDGE PCIE card and the GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK Motherboard?

I'm in need of Thunderbolt compatibility for some audio production. Has anyone had any luck getting thunderbolt working with the GC-ALPINE RIDGE PCIE card and the GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK Motherboard?

The card won't work on the motherboard (at least the Thunderbolt functions won't), since the motherboard does not have a Thunderbolt header.

If you want to use the Alpine Ridge card, you need a motherboard with a special Thunderbolt header.
