It seems pretty likely - Gigabyte BRIX machines have been fairly compatible in the past. I'm not 100% sure the audio (Realtek ALC255) will work, and the Wifi (Intel) definitely won't work, but the Wifi is on an M.2 card you can replace with a compatible Broadcom card. Nice that it has discrete Nvidia GTX 950 graphics.
If it was as easy as the Brix 4570r and 4770r I'd be ecstatic but no such luck. I'm trying to install macOS Sierra on the new Brix and Intel Skull Canyon but still getting hung early in the boot process even with various clover flags being set. The new Brix has a lot of potential and storage options galore with room for two m.2 and two 2.5" drives. Hope to make some progress this evening as I research some ideas from previous contributors. This box is so new I doubt anyone else has picked one up for a hackintosh build which just means a lot of persistence...
