GAZ68MA-D2H-B3 + EN210 - no audio via hdmi

Just finished putting together the Customac budget build with the addition of the Asus EN210 Silent graphics card. Everything worked great except I cannot get sound via HDMI (to my Pioneer deck). I plugged in the toslink cable and got audio to work but then could not get video and sound at the same time.
Initially, I ran Multibeast with:
UserDSDT install (and downloaded my MB's dsdt file)
System Utilities
Audio - Realteck ALC8xxHDA and AppleHDA rollback
- I later checked off ALC889 too and rebooted
Disk - 3rd party SATA
Network - Lnx2Mac

That's it. Easiest install I've ever done but this is going to be a Plex media center so I really need to figure out sound.

Tried what was said in this thread viewtopic.php?f=16&t=26486
Got audio out via headphones. Nothing out hdmi
Thought it might be the video card so pulled that and attached hdmi to main board but now stuck at apple grey screen on boot

Nevermind - it was a receiver issue... :?
