I have attached my config.plist with the change you suggested but I still don't get accelerated graphics, its still only showing as 7mb.

Lilu.kext and WhateverGreen.kext are installed to L/E but not in CLOVER/KEXTS/OTHER/

config.plist that I use is from the laptop guide.

I have disabled the discreet graphics using the DSDT patching guide.

Am I missing something obvious?

Many Thanks again for your help.

not sure why you have added -alcbeta and -lilubeta to boot arguments for? or are you running a beta version of macOS?

also not sure why you can't use the config.plist as is, meaning not to add or remove anything

I've just replaced my plist with config_HD4600_4400_4200.plist as suggested, now I get a glitched login screen.

I'm sure there is a way to fix it but I'm totally lost after following so many guides and threads etc.

Am I correct in thinking that it is best to use only lilu and whatevergreen for accelerated graphics. Some guides I've read suggest using fake-pci-id?

If I disable
<key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key>
<data>BgAmCg==</data>
<key>device-id</key>
<data>EgQAAA==</data>
I can boot but without accelerated graphics?

The attached image shows what happens when using the plist as default settings?

have you tried to enable cms in bios? apparently that should sort that issue out

I don't have cms in my bios :(

Do you know of an alternative or do I have to give up?

I meant to say CSM

normally under boot options and boot mode, what options do you have there?

have you updated to the latest bios version?

This laptop has no real options aside from UEFI and legacy.

I'll try legacy and see if that helps. However I'll just have to check that Windows will still boot if I change to legacy mode as I've set it to dual boot off one ssd..

Might be a good idea though :clap:

Nevermind.

Set clover to 1024 x 768 and the problems gone!
