Hi,

I've got problems with these two cards and a new GA-Z97-D3H mobo (bios F7 up-to-date).

-SYBA SY-PEX40038 (2 eSata): boot but drives not mounted (after install AHCI 3rdParty eSATA kext)

-SYBA SD-PEX30009 (1 FW400 & 2 FW800): KP during boot

These cards works fine with a GA-Z67XP-UD3 mobo.

I can't find any firmware update.

All suggestion welcome ! (maybe a bios setting ??)

Config: GA-Z97-D3H / ATI 6870 (same issues without) / Yosemite / Clover

No more KP after changing bios setting Peripherals->PCIE Slot Configuration (PCH)-> Auto to x4

But the card always don't work (but working on dual boot Windows 8)

Does someone have a FireWire pci-e card working with a recent (Z97) Gigabyte mobo ?

I've juste received a Broadcom BCM94331CD wifi & BT and his pci-e adapter. Same, not recognized .

Test with the old Z68XP-UD3: BT,wifi, Continuity... all is fine.

Any idea before I return the motherboard ?

What system definition are you using?

iMac 14,2

For the KP, I removed all the DSDT Fixes (ACPI->DSDT->Fixes) in the Clover's config file (this 3 settings give KP: FixFirewire_0800, FixUSB_1000, FixAirport_4000). Thanks to Rampage.

Now, all is well with 3 pci-e card
