My name is Jim, I am kind of new of this group. For me, Hackintosh such is beauty that save my life. I know that Mac does a great job with the computer, however, as a designer, we all know how slow it is when we try to use smudge tool on PS. How long it does to final a 3D editing on Cinema 4D. All of this is not about the software, it all about the Hardware. So I came out a idea that build a power machine that run a mac, which is hackintosh. First all of, I have to thanks for the building suggest on this Web.
My Components:
Case:BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX
Motherboard:Gigabyte LGA 1150 Intel Z87n-Wifi
CPU:Intel i5 4670K (Socket 1150)
GPU:EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked
Memory:Crucial Low Profile 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3-1600
Power supply:Corsair CX Series 500M
Drive:Crucial M500 120GB
Crucial M4 128GB
Seagate Barracuda 1 TB HDD
CPU Cooler:Corsair Hydro Series H60
Monitor:Asus VS247H-P 23.6-Inch Full-HD LED-Lit LCD Monitor
Keyboard:Apple Keyboard
Mouse:cyborg Mat M.M.O.7
Speaker:Logitech Multimedia Speakers Z200
DVD Drive:LG Internal UH12NS30 BD-ROM Blu-ray Optical Drive
The installation took me about 30 mins. It was not hard. The concept of this build is I try to make this machine to run Windows and Mac. For some of you that don't want to do the dual systems, you can ignore this. So I started with Windows first. Put the DVD in or you can do you own USB boot for Windows. After installed Windows, it's about time to start Mac.
Suggest to install 10.9. I did the ML before can't boot in the system without the safe mode.
Using Mac to create the USB boot. Follow the installation. (disconnect all the Disk of your machine, only connect the disk that you want to install Mac.)
MultiBeast Options
I used "DSDT Free" + Additional info
Audio: Realtek ALCxxx-Without DSDT-ALC892
Network: Intel-AppleintelE1000e v3.0.4
Bootloaders: Chimera v2.2.1
BootOptions: 1080p Display Mode
remember to check your org.chameleon.Boot.plist under Extra's folder
