Hi everyone,

Here is my hardware:

MOBO: GA-Z77X-UP5 TH
CPU: Intel i7 3770K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1x4gb
SSD: Crucial M4 256gb

The setup went fine until Multibeast. I tried to do it step by step and the problem is when I press the DSDT-Free installation button. From there it won't start and get stucked i the apple logo.

The text I get is the following:

Any of you had the same issue?

Thanks,
Leo

I tried to plug my thunderbolt display. It starts if I start with the VGA and the thunderbolt displays and unplug the VGA display at the partition selection page. Kind of weird. Then if I restart with the thunderbolt display it starts only if I put it in verbose mode and then freeze black (the sound is still on through the thunderbolt display...

Try using -v -x -f -F

First I thought that it had something to do with the GraphicsEnabler when I saw your first photo...

Now I believe resetting the BIOS to Optimised Settings will solve the case...

Here are my fail-free settings! (So far)

I managed to get USB 3.0 working before on a previous install, but I'm working on a music project with a deadline right now, so can't experiment before Thursday!

Best of luck! :)

Complete a Fresh installation and run multibest with only these options.

DSDT-DSDT Free installation
Audio > Without DSDT > ALLC898
TRIM Enabler > 10.8.1
Network > Intel

And reboot.

The above boot arguments didn't make any difference. I will try your multibeast settings but I doubt it will make a difference as the problem seems to be in the DSDT-Free package.

Nevertheless I'm able to boot with GraphicsEnabler=No.

So you managed to get it to boot after multibeast? I've been having the same problems with the same board/processor. Lmk what you're figuring out. Try as I might I can't make it back in after multi..
