GA-Z77X-UP5 TH + Gigabyte HD 7950 GPU -- please help get this working w/10.8.3

I have the GA-Z77X-UP5 TH working with onboard graphics and am trying to add a Gigabyte HD 7950 GPU (GV-R795WF3-3GD) using 10.8.3.

I've seen reports of this GPU working, but no details of the config.

I've tried to init integrated graphics and disable on-board an boot with Chimera--result = won't boot. Hang after:
AMDTahitiGraphicsAccelerator: ** Device in slot: SLOT--1 **
I've tried this with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and GraphicsEnabler=No (my understanding is that with this setup I should have GraphicsEnabler=No, since the driver is supplied with 10.8.3)

I've tried to boot using Clover EFI...the closest I've been able to get is with Clover + graphics injection the system boots, comes up for a a few seconds then kernel panics.

I have not entered any specific config for my card anywhere (e.g. Device ID) -- do I need to configure this somewhere?

Does anyone have this setup working and if so, can you offer some advice or pointers to any setup details?

Has anyone been able to get the Gigabyte HD 7950 GPU (GV-R795WF3-3GD) working on 10.8.3 with any motherboard? If so, how did you get it working?

i have the same Gigabyte Card, and it`s run very nice.

My config:
Ga-Z77-DS3H
i5-3570K
Mac OS X 10.8.3

Bios setting default, but intern Grafik off.
Only start with PCI-E as first Card!
Take off intern Grafik!!

Please read here in forum install OS 10.8.3!!!

My path:
Install mac OS 10.8.3 from USB-Drive.
Boot every time with GraphicsEnabler=No.
Eventual you must boot with additional -x, to load
OS X first time, proof it.

When finish with install and first time load
10.8.3, do not reboot!!

Multibeast setting, look for your Board, and

Finally:

search in, "Post Install Forum: Graphics" for the fbrotate Methode.
It was in the testing Thread 7xxx AMD Cards.
It is easy and run like a charme.

I tried going through the steps you suggested and I get a kernel panic on boot. I installed from a 10.8.3 install USB created from the 10.8.3 installer. After install, I applied Unibeast with a DSDT-free installation.
On boot attempts I get a kernel panic shortly after the UI comes up.
Are there any suggestions, and/or subtleties that I should be aware of to get this to work?
