GA-Z77X-UD5H and Mountain Lion - Shutdown problems

Hi guys, i am writing from my brand new Hackintosh.

With this system configuration:

GA-Z77x-UD5H

Intel Core i5 3570k

2x4 GB Ram Vengeance

everything seems to work perfectly and out of the box, except some audio issues (Sound only from the black plug) and some power management issues.

I CAN'T shutdown OSX 10.8 properly, cause it reboot a few second later.

I've tried EvOreboot.kext, it worked first time but now i've the same problem again, to shutdown my Computer i've got to Hold the pwr button for a few second on the startup screen.

Someone can help me???

hmm, did you disable WAKE ON LAN in your BIOS ???

Hi,

I am here in Albuquergue, New Mexico. I am an Atheist and in saying that I must say that this forum is a God send.

I disabled Wake on Lan and it worked. Shut Down issue is resolved.

Sorta the same problem for me. The OS shuts down but the computer will not. I have to manually turn it off.

Any help would be great!

I had also shutdown problem with GA-Z77X-UD5H and mavericks. I spend many days and tried everything Finally I changed my GPU to another PCI-express slot and shutdown problem is gone! I hope this would also help others with same problem...

Changed to an SSD for my main hard drive. It now shuts down just fine!
