GA-Z77-DS3H Audio not working

Well, it is an interesting start. I was able to install Sierra on my GA-Z77-DS3H. I also was using a GTX-960 GPU which added a few twists. It installed fine except for GPU, Audio and Network not working after initial install.

• GPU issue solved by installing the WebDriver-367.05.10.05b07.pkg from Nvidia and using nv_disable=1 I clover options while running Sierra installer.
• Network issue fixed by installing AtherosL1cEthernet-v1.2.3.pkg from an older Mutlibeast. My board uses a Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 v2.0 Gigabit Ethernet according to System Information.

But I haven't been able to figure out audio yet. Using multibeast to install ALC887/888b hasn't worked for me yet. Is this a common problem in Sierra or just for this board? Tips on fixing would be appreciated. I'll keep poking around until I figure it out as well.

AppleALC doesn't seem to work for me (GA-Z77-DS3H rev. 1.0), Audio settings show no outputs.

Doesn't seem to work. Or maybe I should ask first is how to install it in the correct location for Sierra?

The 892 didn't work for me, but VoodooHDA does get me sound out.

I installed VoodooHDA from Multibeast and after reboot system prefs says there is no VoodooHDA devices.

Related question. While looking around, I see mentions of ioreg tool. Where would the audio show up here?

Dont need VoodooHDA. Z77-DS3H doesn't use ALC892. It uses ALC889. Use Clover Audio Injection and remove VoodooHDA.

Ok... Try this.... Do a fresh install of osx sierra.. Then use the multibeast and uncheck the audio driver, dont install the audio driver. Then restart ur computer.. Now u hav to download the multibeast for Yosemite.. Use the Yosemite multibeast only Load the audio driver. Choose voodoohda for vt 2021 (z77 chipset uses VIA vt 2021 chip) under universal.. Then restart... It should work.. It worked for me
