Under Customisation -> SSDT Options there's only Sandy Bridge stuff. http://i.imgur.com/cHfM5.png As far as I know, 3570K is an Ivy Bridge CPU.

I can't seem to get it back to 9400 after I tried your suggestion either... I can just remove the kext you provided and put the old one back, right? I hope that kext you linked didn't break my system.. My geekbench score is now at 8975 or so mostly., almost 500 points difference because of your kext.

When you have deleted a .kext, use kext utility to repair permissions, etc. and with that tool you can easily install the new (old) kext as well. Do a reboot after that. I have a pretty similar system compared to yours (same board, same CPU, GT640, ssd) and am getting around 10000 without o'clocking and just abve 13000 when I adjust the CPU to 4,4 Ghz. (multiplier *44)

Thanks Manfred!

I googled around and someone suggested I should disable EIST in BIOS.

So I did that and now Turbo Boost works so I get a score of around 10600.

Hopefully this will help someone else.
