Hello Everyone,
UniBeast install on new SSD.
Sierra has been running flawlessly for years on my eight year old GA-Z68XP-UD3 motherboard. Since I'm homebound it's a great time to update to Catalina.
Using a new SSD the installation process was going well until the Apple Logo/Progress Bar. The progress bar would reach about 75% and then the screen would go black. I tried booting is safe mode but the computer would reboot about 5 seconds after the progress bar appeared. Also tried adding WhatEverGreen and LuLi in different combos to the USB/EFI to see if that helped, but no luck.
Motherboard does not have a VGA. Graphic card is R9 280X running two Apple 23" displays via DVI ports. I've searched for hours for a solution but no luck. Does anyone have any insight and solution?
Many Thanks,
John V.
