Try installing the stand-alone Chimera installer.
Did you successfully run Multibeast? UserDSDT (with the correct DSDT.aml on your dektop)?
Make sure to use the correct one according to your bios version.

What is the stand-alone chimera installer? I did the rest of your suggestion (successful run of multibeast, correct DSDT on Desktop)
Also used the correct BIOS version (checked on Mobo BIOS settings, it's f8).
