Dear Hackintoshers,

I've searched all over the net to fix a problem I've got to get my system into sleepmode and awake. When I press the on/off button my screen fades to black but my fans still spinning. Also the awake function does not work and a full reset is the only solution to get my system back alive..

I thought my mobo on UEFI does have native powermanagement and no kexts or anything are required..

Also tried a lot of boot flags and BIOS settings but nothing did fix it.. Even with no additional hardware (PCI wifi for example) sleep doesn't work.

Is anybody familiar with this problem or does anybody know a solution?

Thanks for the help!

(Also think my geekbench score is to low for the hardware I use.. Maybe because I use onboard GPU.. But I can live with that ;-))

Are you using a DSDT? If so try booting without it and see if that helps the sleep issues?

If your not then I'd try using the TonyMac one for your board? Or extract and patch your own?

Also - if you have installed any USB 3.0 kexts then remove them?

Do you have Darkwake=10 in your boot plist?
