I've done several UP5-TH installs successfully, but this one has me stumped.

I can easily install MT Lion but no matter whose MultiBeast for ML builds I try to replicate, it won't reboot into the desktop. I get grey Apple screen w/spinning logo and then it goes black - no video.

I've tried every switch I can find (-x, nv-disable, graphicsenabler=yes/no) without any luck. Like I said I can install ML but after installing the MultiBeast (the one for ML) it just hangs on the grey screen and goes black on reboot to the hard drive.

Checked all the BIOS settings, AHCI, Load Optimized, etc.

I'm sure it's a simple fix, but I can't figure it out without some help.

Also, I tried a fresh install of Mav & Yosemite but those wouldn't even boot to install screen, so the plan (unless there is a better way to get to Yosemite) is to get ML working then upgrade - unless there is a simpler way to go.

System:
GA-X58A-UD5 Bios F7
NVidia 285 & 570HD
16GM RAM

boot with -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes

post pic of screen where it hangs. Suspect GPU - Exactly what model is 570HD?
