Anyone with a GA-X58A-UD5 mobo or anyone that can help me setup my BIOS, please read below!

I'm running into trouble getting past the Apple screen after the iBoot menu. I've tried the whole "PCIRootUID=1" and "-1" and all that, but still nothing. I have a feeling that my BIOS is not setup correctly, but I've been staring at it for hours and can't figure it out. I've listed all the BIOS settings I currently have (excessive, I know, but I wanted to be thorough). I know it's a lot to read but if anyone can provide feedback or help me with this, I would be very greatfull.

Hello
I don't have your exact board but the X58A-UD3R Rev 1, i7 930, Falcon II 128 GB SSD etc. and running SL 10.6.7 fine. I think your issue is that you are using that crappy Marvell 9128 controller if you are using the SSD as the boot drive. Try moving the SSD to the Intel port 0 and I noted is already set as AHCI. The rest of your settings look fine but you should from memory only have 4 GB ram when installing with iBoot/Multibeast. I have 6 GB installed as 3 x 2 GB 1600 in triple channel mode and use 64 bit OSX. I have the Gigabyte 5770 graphics card. Only issue I have is I have a Dell U2711 monitor whicj is 2560 x 1440 and a dual link DVI KVM and the Hackintosh will not auto detect the signal at the Mac desktop. So I have to unplug the DVI connector from the card and plug it back in which forces detection so I have a nice 2560 x 1440 SL....
Hope that helps

Move the DVD to port 2_0 (blue port closest to ram and closest to the mainboard.)
Move the SSD to port 2_1 (blue port closest to ram and next out from the mainboard.)

Thank you all for the advice!

I ended up keeping everything plugged into the motherboard the way it was and just resetting my BIOS to default & changing the settings again, very carefully. This time it worked. I installed OSX, did the update, did the multibeast and everything works perfectly.

Today, I'll install Windows7 on a seperate SATAIII drive. Then it'll be good to go!

I'm already impressed with how fast this computer is.. :)
