Hi everyone.
I've been fighting with building this hackintosh and I almost succeeded.
Just that when booting from HDD in 32 or 64 bits kernel I get the grey screen of death after 1-2 minutes of usage. All functions work properly during those 1-2 minutes.
I dont get that when I start up with the iBoot legacy CD.

More detailed information:
My PC:
MoBo: GA-P67A-UD4-B3 F3 bios (with recommended settings from here
CPU: Intel i5 2500k with multiplier set on 32
Video: Gainward GTX 260
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB (connected on SATA II ports)
DVD-RW Asus SATA
Network: Wifi PCI card TL-WN951

I installed and configured mostly by following the guide from here except the ATI specific parts and without the GraphicsEnabler=no flag and using my MBs DSDT passed through autopatcher and patching it with GA-P67A-UD4 info.

Can anyone give me a hint on what could cause the kernel panic?
I tried to find kernel panic dump/log but was not successful, maybe I'm not looking in the correct place, so if you know point me to the correct one :)

EDIT: Booting with -x flag works. No kernel panics

Which kexts do you have installed? Have you tried booting without the WiFi card?

I have the same board and CPU as you. My hack runs great.

Post your kexts and verify your BIOS settings.

I am trying to get my audio/network working on GA-P67-UD4-B3. I tried the multibeast network drivers (Lyn2mac) for the network, and the audio i tried all the 892 options in multibeast.

Any ideas?

Sound:
Here is how I got sound working. At least 1 other person used the same method on the UD4 board and it worked. My post is almost at the bottom.

This forum is different than vbulletin so I don't know how to find just a single post.
