Hi,

in the last 2-3 Weeks I reinstalled my whole system about 6 times with this installation guide (which is great btw):
http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=79&t=16323

I'm not exactly sure when it occured because all the time I get newer versions of MB, Chimera and so. Now is used iBoot 3.0.4 and MB 3.6.0 and I get the following problems:

Youtube video stutter as if my cpu was too slow. Benchmark proves otherwise. I figured it has something to do with sound. At first sound worked like a charm but then I got errors from time to time. I unplugged and plugged my USB Sound and most of the times it worked again.
Now my external sound is not working any more. Sometimes the application that have sth. to do with sound are crashing. BTW I did not install Realtek Audio in MB...
The USB Sound System works fine on e.g. a Macbook.

Is there maybe a problem with the usb3 driver? PXHCD is the USB3 Driver, not?

Edit:
I should also mention that it happened a couple times that when I plug in a USB Device like a USB Stick or a Mouse that I got a kernel panic.

Edit2:
This Sound Problem seem to appear after restoring my time machine backup. I maybe need to mention that this backup originates from another hackintosh running a ga-p35-ds4. Maybe there's the flaw... I also restored "Settings" and "Other files...".

Thanks a lot!

I updated the vertex3's firmware from 2.02 to 2.06 and the boards firmware from F2 to F4. Now I'll give it a new shot with reports coming soon...

Edit: No luck so far... I still get the spinning wheel of death... :beachball:
I replaced the mainboard with a new one. The problem also occurs when I have not restored my timemachine backup so that's obviously not the problem.
Now I'm trying to install onto a common 2,5" HDD thinking maybe it's a problem with the SSD. I'll also replace the Power Supply which is an Enermax ELT400AWT.

I'd use the new software that is out this week in my guide (MB 3.7 and the like) and give it a go again. Do NOT install any system settings from an existing hack, as the settings and code are unique to their individual systems if you have any kexts loaded.

Thanks for the hint gordo.
Actually the Power Supply seems to be the cause of all pain. I must have spent like 10-20 hours to figure it out. Hope it'll help someone else. Never thought a malfunctioning power supply could cause these kinds of errors...

Edit:
Maybe it's not malfunctioning but it has too low power for my system. The GPU consumes up to 110W and the GPU consumes up to 130W. I have two optical drives, an SSD and a 3,5" HDD. 400 W should be enough, or not?

Edit2:
Ok new Information.
When I plug ANY USB1 or USB2 Device into a USB3 Plug the computer goes nuts......... :beachball:
