Hello everyone, greetings from Brazil :headbang:

Guys, i'm about to build my first hackintosh and i would
like to known which motherboard/cpu combo i should
pick.

Combo 1
Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2
Intel Core i7 870 2.93GHz
RAM G.Skill ECO Series 8GB (4x 2gb)

Combo 2
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R
Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz
Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) 1333MHz

The rest of the configuration
Pioneer DVD±R 22X Writer LabelFlash (DVR-218LBK)
case NZXT BETA EVO Classic Series
MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 Cyclone 1024MB GDDR5 (or should i go with a hd5770?)
...and a Zalman 650w PSU that i alredy own.

I do like Combo 1, but in some old posts of the forum
some people complained about some audio problems
with the GA-X58A-UD3R. As i will be working in this
hackintosh with both audio and video in the future, i
really need that everything works (well, everything
but sleep, i usually turn it off).

Also, do you guys think that the gtx 460 drivers will
be stable in a couple months? Would an ati hd5770
be a safer choice?

Thanks :beachball:

I don't have any experience with the P55, but I've gotten the impression that the X58A will be more compatible with future processors because it uses the newer 1366 socket.

I think the audio problem has been solved for the rev. 2
