Hello, finally got my El Capitan build running nicely on GA-P55M-UD2, a classic build here at Tonymacx86, and wanted to pass along some tips.
I recommend in general using the excellent Tonymacx86 guide found here:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...-el-capitan-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html
HOWEVER-- I could not get Unibeast 6.0 to work. At boot up, I wouldn't have any USB functionality for mice or keyboard. Using the "Fix USB" option at boot crashed the system. Instead, I had to use the V6 installer found here:
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/307003-clover-os-x-el-capitan-usb/
When you run the V6 installer to build your USB INSTALLER, choose the LEGACY version.
When you boot from your USB, go to OPTIONS, then down to DSDT, then click on "USB FIX". This will enable you to use those devices and install EL CAPITAN. (Note: no attempt to make this permanent via CLOVER CONFIGURATOR ever worked, it would cause kernel panic at boot up).
After installation, I did not use the POST-INSTALL tools from that installer. Instead, I went back to using the tools at the TONYMACx86 El Capitan guide. Continue at Step 5, with installation of the EL CAPITAN POST INSTALL TOOLS.
After this step, use the files attached at the end of this post for a working CONFIG.PLIST and DSDT.AML, which will properly set you up for USB and AUDIO. To install these files you will need the EFI Mounter v2 application (located at Tonymacx86 in the Download menu > Download Index . Community Software).
NEXT:
Open the Security & Privacy Preference Pane in System Preferences.
Select the General Tab.
In the lower left corner, click on the padlock and type in your Admin username & password;
Click on the "Anywhere" radio button under "Allow applications and downloaded from:"
Close the System Preferences window.
Open the Terminal and enter
diskutil list
Note the drive diskxs1 designation for your El Capitan drive - mine was disk1s1 (USB installer probably will take disk0s1)
Mount your EFI drive partition using EFI Mounter v2 application, choosing the diskxs1 drive partion you found in the above step.
Replace the config.plist you find in the mounted EFI volume under EFI/CLOVER/ with the one I've attached here.
Place the dsdt.aml in the mounted EFI volume under EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/.
Now continue with the Tonymacx86 guide, using the CLOVER CONFIGURATOR, CLOVERALC110 script, etc., and you should be good to go.
It took a lot of work, with much thanks to the posters and moderators at these forums:
