GA-P55A-UD3 rev1.0 F11

Hello every one !!

First of all, my configuration :

GA-P55A-UD3 rev1.0 bios update to F11 ( was a good idea ? )
GeForce 240GT
I7 870
4go Ram 1333mhz
1To SATA

I have already made a install of 10.6.4 on my laptop with the IbootATI+Multibeast ( work well without any DSDT )
So I decided to install 10.6.4 on my Desktop, so with the IbootNvidia+Multibeast, I've make all the install without any kind of problems.
I chose the bios option =>

CD in first priority
AHCI
AHCI for the sata disk
HPET on 64

With the multibeast, i chose :

UserDSDT with the one I download on Tonymac ( the GA-P55A-UD3-F11 )
I've put my DSDT on the desktop, remane it DSDT.aml ( I don't know if it's usefull ) and the install look find, I can find him in /Extras/

But when I reboot, I always need the Iboot to boot on mac ... ( if no booterror )
May I have to change BIOS config ? because nothing change ( CD on first priority, and if I try to put it on second, no kind of boot )

So It's one things that I didn't solved.

But most important is that, when I reboot on 10.6.4, I have no sound, in syspref->Sound it's only 4 Digital Out.
My ALC is 888 ( I think so, the rev of my MB is 1.0), so I tried the Legalacy888, nothing change, the Voodoo 0.2.2 with 0.2.56 nothing ... I fact, I thing that I have test all the kind of combination possible ( each time I was deleting the old Kext in /S/L/E or /E/E )
So know I really don't know how to do ...

The finally idea it's to make my UDJ46 usb plug work ( on a real mac, It's work natively ), it's for control my mixing table ...

So if you have any idea, please help me, cause i'm starting to get crazy ( )

For booting to your HDD, you need to run Multibeast, and reinstall Chameleon, make sure it's install to your bootable HDD.

Sound: ALC 888 is 892 codec, only works with Voodoo 2.56. Deleted AppleHDA, Legacy 888, try reinstall again.

Usb: I've no glue

I'm sure that I've install the bootloader on the boot HDD because I've only got one HDD ^^
I've test with easybeast, and also testing by selecte manually the cameleon.
No any changes.

For the sound, your are sure that the ALC is 892 ?
The rev of my MB is rev 1.0 so it should be ALC 888, no ?
Anyway, I've test with 0.2.56 ( deleting every things like legaly or appleHDA ), no change ...

I really don't know what to do ...

GA-P55A-UD3 Rev 1.0 = ALC888 and needs DSDT + Legacy888HDA + 10.6.2 AppleHDA Rollback
GA-P55A-UD3 Rev 2.0 = ALC892 and needs VoodooHDA

In fact, I think that I already test with DSDT+legalecy888+10.6.2 roolback ...
I'll test again Monday when I'll go back home
The bios version change something ?
Cause I update mine to F11 ... ( but I always take the good DSDT in F11 )
And for the boot problem ... how can I do ?

When you partition your HDD, did you select GUID in option ?
Something wrong with your bootloader.

Yep, I take the GUID option, not the MBR
Someone told me to test with the iboot supported for my install ... could that be usefull ?

So, i'm trying to install again mac with the iboot method ^^
I've the GA-P55A-UD3 rev 1.0 with the F11 bios.
I've download the DSDT for the GA-P55A-UD3 rev 1.0 F11.
I put it on the desktop and install with this option :

UserDSDT
System utilies
Voodoo 0.2.56
Rollback

No any result ... no boot without iboot ... no sound ...
I've green audio port, on the front and on the back ...
That change something ?

EDIT: Same issue with UserDSDT,System utilities,Legalecy888, and rollback ...

If you boot using iBoot, you will NEVER user any of the things you installed on the disk for audio.
