GA-P55A-UD3 - rear audio okay but nothing from front

I tried the new CD method. Did not work. See here

However I did get sound working correctly through the following method.

I have a backup of a raw OSX install. This is just a base install. So I restore it to disc and it is not bootable and has no kekts installed. Simply it is ready to be setup on any Gigabyte i7 board.

I restore the base install to disc stick it in the machine I want to use
boot from tony mac iBoot disc
use multiBeast to install sound kext and PC-EFi booter

Reboot and everything works including sound from front of box - nice.

I am trying the new USB method now.

So far good.

restored to USB
installed necesary toools to make USB bootable etc...

Boots fine
installs fine, (USB installs faster than CD)
reboot to native osx
install necessary boot files..reboot...

finish initial install
run multibeast - sound and dsts and network RT1000
reboot
fail at - appleHDA assertial

reboot native

use multi-beast install pci-EFi boot only

Everything works including sound front and rear
