GA-H87M-D3H MoBo with intel i7-4790

Hello fellow hackies, I've spent the past two weeks looking for the components that will make up my first hackintosh. Now, however, I'm second-guessing that my CPU will be compatible with my MoBo when running Mavericks. Then, when I read some other things, it sounded like it will be fine. There is a Bios update for the MoBo that makes it compatible with this CPU, but I'm not sure how it will all work together. I'm not opening my CPU from the box until I know for sure that this is do-able, incase I need to send it back and just get the 4770k

Unfortunately i can't help you but i woud like to make a build with i7 4790 and GA-H87-D3H no m too. As i also don't find a lot infos and it's hard to know if it's compatible. I would be happy to know if you tried and if everything work fine or what issue did you have.
