Hello,
I love my current i7 system, but am thinking of building another.
Question 1:
Could somebody break down the benefits of H67 vs P67?
I would be mostly using it for CPU intensive, highly threaded tasks so the 2600 or 2600k is what I want. I get almost a 2x boost compared to the i5. I might OC a bit, but would only do where I can still get speedstep etc, ie mild.
So assuming combining with a 2600k, how does a H67 vs P67 limit me...Better to go with 2600 if only want a mild OC?
I have found this...

From a hack point of view we will (probably) never use the integrated graphics, or at least not yet.
Question 2: The p55m-ud4 (and other boards with 889a) has been outstanding in that it is "vanilla" even during updates. All the new boards have 892. Are folks doing find with the Tonymac rollback method when they update? Any new method on the horizon? I guess much depends on what the imacs have...Eventually the Mac Pros might get some beast 2011 chipset 32 thread mayhem going, but I am not holding my breath.
Thank You,
