G5 Case Front

Recently I almost finished my G5 mod and I want to start perfecting the front panel. But I have a slight problem. I gave my friend the working g5 parts that were inside. I want the front panel back, as he doesn't need the 3 slots, but he does need the power switch. Am I able to get my whole front panel back and be useful for my project with him being able to use the power switch for the working g5 parts?

You can leave the power button in the case to be utilized on its own. It had three wires coming from it that plug into the PCB set up that has the USB, Firewire and audio and that has the 18 pin plug that would go to the logicboard.

So you would need to figure out on the 3 wires off the power button which is the PWR+ PWR- and LED+ that is all you need on those three wires.

Now the only thing is if you snag the PCB your buddy will loose, of course, the USB, FW and audio. You will have those on the board but then you wont have a power button unless your case still has one.
