Just wanted to share my G5 case hackintosh build. Older specs but runs SL / 10.7.2 great.
Intel DG33TL mATX Motherboard
Intel C2D e8400 @ 3.0GHz
8Gb DDR2 800
4x 160Gb HDs RAID 0
nVidia 8500GT (Not picuted)
Fans are PWM and front CPU fans are wired into G5 quick link connector in case you just wanna pull them out while the computer is running. lol. They are all Arctic Cooling brand fans.
PSU is a Seasonic 400w PSU with Vantec Stealth 60mm fans.
Back of the case was cut to allow for I/O simple and no one sees the back anyway.
All front I/O works
- In case you were wondering, no the HDs stay cool enough. About 45-55c on load.
