I need help getting full graphics out of my Hackintosh.
After following the Lifehacker tutorial, (although with a 512MB MSI 8400GS, instead of the recommened 9500GT) I have been unable to get full graphics support from a multitude of efforts (EFI Strings, NVInject, NVEnabler etc etc) but have now come across an 8500GT which I am going to give a go.
At present I am only getting one resolution and no dual monitor support. System Profiler is telling me I only have a 32mb card. This is precisely the same issue as I have had with the 8400GS.
I am suspicious that the fault is with the motherboard, and not the graphics cards and that maybe I need a newer graphics card to work with the newer motherboard. Could I be right?
Also, I have just stumbled across this, which claims to get the 8500GT working, but the rest is older kit. Is this method likely to work with mine?
