Front USB 3.0 port not working...

Hello,

I have an asrock Z370 mini itx Fatal1ty board with i5 8400 and 16gb ram and 1080Ti gpu, front usb 3.0 port does not work. All rear ports work perfectly with usb 2.0 or 3.0 devices...

When booting in windows front port works fine.

Any ideas on a solution?

Assuming this should work since it worked for him with same board.

i have just looked at the link you provided and saw:

SSDTs
I followed Rehabman's directions to create an SSDT to inject only the rear USB ports on the I/O panel.....

It is posted in teh Laptop Section, does that also apply for Desktops?
I remember back when asking once in teh Laptop section, that I was kindly thrown out due to a Desktop feature

Procedures for proper USB configuration do not differ between laptops and desktops.
