Fresh Install or Update existing

Hey Folks!

Been a long time, as my Hack has been flawless since building it and running updates.

But the time has come to move to Big Sur - I have software that is no longer supporting or running on 10.13

Just picked up a MSI AMD Radeon RX 580 Armour in preparation for the swap but I have a question...

What's the best advice - do a fresh install from the beginning or do an update via the App Store?

I'm battling to get an update working. Preboot will not boot, so busy working my way through it. A fresh install (maybe on a different drive so you don't lose your current setup)
