Hello
I recently built another Hackintosh for music production. Unfortunately, despite installing FreezeFix, it is plagued with freezes which occur during downloading from the App store and whilst copying files from a Samsung USB 3.0 external hard drive (which works perfectly with an MBP 2011)
Apparently this board experiences issues with 4 x ram slots occupied but I have implemented a fix suggested elsewhere on here: (Tried with and without : increase +0.200v on System agent voltage + CPU IO Analog + CPU IO Digital)
I encountered one or two deadbeefs during installation of Mavericks. I used the Bootflag :
-v -x PCIRootUID=1 GraphicsEnabler=Yes
Can anyone spot any problems with the boot flag / my spec?
Any advice greatfully received - thanks
Spec
i7 4770k
Gigabyte Z87 D3HP (latest Bios)
4 x 8 GB Micron RAM 1600 mhz (Mem test = OK, Manual Timings Set, XMP profile greyed out in BIOS)
Samsung 840 EV0 250GB SSD
Asus GT 640 2GB Video Card (connected via HDMI)
IO Gear GBU521 Bluetooth Adapter
