Free MoBo when you buy a i3-8100

Newegg has is offering a free BIOSTAR B360GT3S motherboard with a Intel Core i3-8100 Coffee Lake. It's a cheap board but looks pretty decent for the price. I have no idea if it will work for a hackintosh build. I ordered one. I figured if it is to much of pain to hackintosh it, I'll build a little linux server.

Surprisingly it hasn't been that hard of a build. It's not done yet, but it's funtional. It's been a good learning experience. I had a hard time to get Intel graphics to work right. I droped in a RX570 and it works. I'm planning on have it be a dual boot with linux so I wasn't to worried about the Hackintosh build. It's been worth the money I spent on it.

I have a Gigabyte board coming for a different build. I'm sure it will be easier. Thanks for the word of warning. I'm totally new to this and I can use all the advice I can get.

Fry's Electronics is clearing out several Gigabyte MoBos. There not free but they have some decent prices. I ordered the Gigabyte Z370 HD3 it seemed to be the best bang for the buck for me. They have a Gigabyte Z370M-DS3H for $88.34 That is the cheapest Gigabyte Intel Z370 Chipset that I have found.
