Hello everyone, this is my forst time on these forums, and I'd like to make sure that these parts I've picked out will work out without too much hassle. This is also my first build, so I'm open to any recommendations.

Processor: Intel i7-3820 Quad-Core 3.6 GHz
Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe
HD: Seagate Momentus XT 750GB Hybrid Drive [For OSs, games, and apps]
HD2: Western Digital 1TB [For media & docs]
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) [Planning on adding 2 more later, the mobo can hold 4 cards]
Power: Corsair Enthusiast Series 850 Watt
Case: CM Storm Enforcer

What do you think? I'm also planning on adding a EVGA GeForce GTX 680 4GB if everything works out.

Thanks, I think I'll use that one instead. Definitely a lot cheaper, and has most of the same features.

Your CPU choice won't work in either board. Can't run a socket 2011 chip in a socket 1155 MB.

hi all.

I am using AsROck Z77 extreme 6 motherboard
Core i5 2500K
8GB Gskill Ripjaws X
ATI raeon HD4850

Will I be able to run hackintosh without much problem?

Oh my gosh, you're right. I assumed that the i7 you chose was 1155, but i was wrong....

Use this board instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128562&Tpk=GA-X79-UP4

I would use an nvidia card just for the sake of being easy to set up. Use the board that I recommended to this other person in an earlier post, since this proc in fact does use 1155.
