Hello everyone,

I need some advice on what parts I should buy for my customac pro.
I went down the list of supported hardware and I have found some myself. But since I have done my research on that hardware I can conclude it will possibly be too hard for me to build it with those parts.:banghead:This is what I had in mind:

I7-4790K
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7 TH
Corsair RM 750 Watt
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
Crucial Ballistix Sport BLS2CP8G3D1609DS1S00CEU (16GB DDR3)
EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0
All of this put together inside a Corsair Carbide 500R.

Seeing this post with that processor and mb I was kinda shocked on what problems I would possibly run into...: [Progress] GA-Z97X-UD7 TH / i7 4790K / 32GB / GTX 770 / 10.9.4So please, I don't know what to do. Is there some thing to simplify all this for a first time mackintosh builder? Maybe different motherboard? There seems no one in my area that builds hackintoshes..:(

No one responded to my other posts, quite possibly because i'm a new member. But i'm willing to contribute with the progress on this coming build.
Thank you in advance!

Sander

If you look at the date of misosoup7's post you'll see it was last July and
the OS was still Mavericks. It's much easier to install Yosemite on a Z97
chipset now than when Mavs was the current OS. So don't be worried.
Besides you can find all the resources and help here you'll need to get
it running smoothly.

Follow a User build which uses similar hardware and do the install with
integrated gfx first. Run Multibeast, then get the Nvidia web drivers installed.
Add in your 970 and reboot. Many recent guides give step by step details on
how to do this.
